C4 Students

Be Moldable. Be Unique. Be C4.

C4 Students is the 6 – 12th grade student ministry at Community Baptist Church.

We strive to give students an atmosphere where they feel loved by their leaders, their peers, and by God. We do this through group bible study, frequent, engaging & age-appropriate events, and weekly worship. We aim to be a welcoming environment where any student can feel at home and find (its in our name) Community.

A Typical Week for a C4 Student

Sunday Morning

On Sunday Mornings, C4 Students can find small, engaging group bible study through Sunday School at 9:45. They are broken up into four groups, each with their own teachers and relevant teaching: 6-8th grade Boys // 6-8th Grade Girls // 9-12th Grade Boys // 9-12th Grade Girls

Students participate in group worship and teaching along with the adults in the Traditional Worship Service at 8:30 or the Contemporary Worship Service at 11:00.

Sunday Night

On Sunday nights students are encouraged to get involved with Youth Choir & discipleship from 6:30 – 7:15. There are other activities during that time for students that don’t want to sing.

Wednesday Night

Wednesdays are the weekly highlight for many C4 students. 6-12th Graders meet together for praise and worship led by a youth band (made up of willing C4 students) followed by a group activity or message led by Student Minister Jonathan Lowery.

Students participate in group worship and teaching along with the adults in the Traditional Worship Service at 8:30 or the Contemporary Worship Service at 11:00.

Meet the Youth Minister

After serving as an assistant student minister for several years Jonathan Lowery joined the Community Baptist Church leadership team in 2015 as Student Minister. When he is not serving at the church, you can find him at his day job running a bread delivery route, spending time with his 2 kids, or enjoying a delicious chicken wing.

“Ain’t no thang, but a Chicken Wang.” – Jonathan Lowery, Student Minister
